About Ancaster, Ontario
Ancaster is a community and former municipality in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, located on the Niagara Escarpment. It was founded as a town in 1793 and was one of the oldest European communities established in present-day Ontario. It amalgamated with the city of Hamilton in 2001.
Ancaster has few points of interest like Ancaster Mill, Ruins of the Hermitage, Griffin House, etc. There are many waterfalls and plenty of ature scenes, dining, shopping and much more. The Ancaster Heritage Village offers one of a kind shops and services in a beautiful environment.
